El Panamericano TV, founded and established in 1978 by President Kermit Mantilla sought publicity not only in Press Media, as well as Newspaper, Radio and popular Television stations in Univision 23, Mega TV and WLRN in Miami, FL. With many recognition, El Panamericano TV received awards from Club de Periodistas del Peru (1979), Revista Diana (1993), City of West Miami (1998), City of South Miami (1998), and ultimately an award from the City of Miami (2001).
In 2001, Mr. Kermit Mantilla had a vision to seek a way to help and give back to the community by founding Panamerican USA Foundation, a Non-Profit Organization.Dedicated to helping the community, on July 28, 2002 Mr. Kermit Mantilla was presented with a Certificate of Appreciation from the office of Commissioners and Mayor Alex Penelas. El Panamericano TV was given a day of "El Panamerican TV USA" on October 4, 2003 by the City of Miami, Commissioner Tomas Regalado and Mayor Manuel A. Diaz. El Panamerican USA TV retired in 2005, leaving only to primarily focus on what's needed the most in the community, Panamerican USA Foundation.
